I am a passionate ,hardworking , honest, well organised  social worker, with vital skills, qualities  and experience to enable me to preform very well in my role to ensure positive outcomes for the vulnerable members of the community. I posses good communication skills, good in active listener with the ability to apply critical thinking to achieve best outcomes.  I ensure that I follow policies and procedures  to inform my practice and undertake training to to develop my knowledge to ensure safe practice. I am empathetic individual, with the ability to build positive working relationships with service users and other professionals whilst I ensure professional boundaries. 

I have experience on working as a social worker within the children and Families Locality, carrying out assessments, children in care planning meeting, child in Need care plan/ reviews ,Chairing Core groups and completing Child Protection Plans. Attending Child Protection review meetings/ and carrying out statutory visits. Organising and chairing professional  meetings/ attending strategy meetings  and carrying out investigation / making recommendations/ court work such as Parenting assessments/ legal SWET. In addition attending PEP meeting / completing PEP plans as well, making referral to relevant service.

I have experience of working with care leavers as a Personal advisor/ completing Pathways plan / visits and supporting young people to live independently.

I have experience of working as a live in support worker for children in care , supporting them to develop independent skills , providing emotional support supporting contact with parents, completing Missing person forms and reporting a child missing recording the day to day activities.

I have worked as a social work assistant within the fostering team carrying out risk assessment fro those who wish to become foster carers and supported facilitating their training.

My placement whilst at the University was within social justice supporting young offenders to resettle within the community, Youth service , supporting children and young people to access services they require. I also carried out strategic developmental work work with various disadvantage members of the community to promote quality life which includes BME groups, those with hearing impairments  and LGBT groups.
