About Brendan Telford Barnett:

I'm a 51 year old father of three living in the Penzance area. 

Since 2007 I have been working in the off shore industry. Specifically in the renewables sector and oil and gas industry. I have had a wide range of experience within this industry and have work along side many different companies.

For the last 11years I have been a ‘Pile Top Driller’ amongst other roles that I have had to been inolved with in order to carry out my duties.

Experience

Experienced in working on small and large scale off shore, near shore construction projects.

This has enabled me to have been trained in a number of roles throughout my working career.

Have supervised and managed some projects over the last few years, which has given me the insight and experience to be a confident and competent operative.

I am an experienced, slinger/signaller, plant operator, drilling technician, and rigger. Have worked on drilling ships, jack up barges, semi submersible's and quay side fixed platforms. 

 

Education

I have a valid UKOA medical cert, BOSIET, GWO, FOET, Working At Height, RYA Power boat level 2, Manual Handling, Forklift and Telehandler Plus CSCS Card. All of these are up to date and have at least a two year expire date on them.

Working at height, manual handling, first aide, fire fighting, rope access and rescue training, basic sea survival and helicopter escape training
