About Brigdett Ndhlovu:
I am an experienced Healthcare Assistant, currently residing and working in the UK. I am seeking a position that will allow me to change sponsorship while continuously providing quality healthcare to patients. In my current position, I maintain an efficient and organised work mentality as I assist in the care of several geriatric and chronically ill patients. I am also experienced in working with teenagers, with skill in anticipating and proactively addressing client needs. I have a knack for problem solving and work well independently with little oversight. I am a compassionate, resourceful self starter who excels at Dementia and Alzheimer care, house-keeping, catheter care , end of life care , medication administration ,engaging clients with light activities and meal preparation. I am familiar with health care protocols and learn new procedures quickly. I hope to contribute to your patient care goals and I would love to discuss further how I might be of value to your team.
Experience
I am trained and experience care assistant. I have a good work ethic and plenty of experience in helping people. Completed O’ Levels with 8 passes in grade C and better. I am currently studying with Learn direct in a course Access to nursing NVQ 3.I have completed Mandatory training in safe guarding adults and children, moving and handling, infection prevention and control, medication administration, first aid and basic life support , awareness of mental health ,dementia and learning disability, privacy and dignity, person centred way, communication, equality and diversity, duty of care. I am trained to do personal care with respect, dignity, and daily living with attention to their personal priorities, person centred approach, trained to enable residents to be as independent as possible and participate in activities. Provide dignified care to end of life care residents. Provide basic life support and mobility support to residents when required. I do volunteering, community service and charity work. I able to support the team, deliver fantastic care to all our patients, helping do whatever it takes to ensure patients receive the very best service possible. I able to help undertake observations, supporting them with their personal care, listening to them when they are distressed, worried, depressed, or agitate. With my current employer I have completed mandatory training in social care as well as mandatory health care standards. I am willing to undergo any further training and induction.
