About caira murray:
I have been working for Canon UK & Ireland, for over four years. My current role ‘Sales Administration Professional’ has developed my knowledge and intrigue for the sales cycle. Along with my experience in retail which involved negotiation, upselling and staying on top of trends and promotions. This role also requires verbal and non-verbal communication, working with key account managers, building customer relations and an attention to detail. I have developed proficient IT skills and thorough knowledge of Salesforce, Oracle and other CRM applications.
I also work alongside HR and closely with the Learning and Development team to support and educate employees. Underlining the importance of Equality, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion within the workplace. I routinely deal with a range of employees from the ground level to directors and stakeholders, holding safe space conversations, webinars and chairing community meetings. Dealing with sensitive information and exploring uncomfortable topics, I exercise patience and empathy as well as taking on a “can do” attitude. In addition, I have a huge responsibility to analyse data, develop plans/projects and support systems, review processes and policies, and ensure we are up to date with inclusive strategies.
In my spare time I express my creativity through making music as half of a duo called Afro Comb, as well as pursuing photography and video editing. I express creativity wherever possible. As an independent musician, self-managing and self-releasing projects centred around music. I produce creative treatments, manage a team of diverse artists and create/track our release schedule. Networking, collaborating and handling objections have been pivotal to our journey in the creative industry.
I am a compassionate, ambitious, and multi-faceted individual seeking to thrive in a new environment where I can continue to challenge myself and grow, both personally and professionally. I am applying for this role as I believe my current skillset and experience are a good match for the role. I am a focused individual, a hardworking team player who is not afraid of challenging myself.
More work experience can be provided upon request.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Caira Naomi Booth-Murray
