Callum Tusnia-Clark

Hi, my name is Callum and I am a 17 year old male who is looking to start a mechanics apprenticeship ideally with motorcycles, or a business management apprenticeship. I have little experience with two of my own personal motorcycles that I have worked on repairing with my father however I am not as clued up as he is and I would love to learn how to repair and work on motorcycles in hope to start my own business; possibly my own garage of some sorts in the near future.

I have 9 GCSEs a few are 5s and 6s and the rest are 4s. I dropped out of college when I fell sick with my illness (cystic fibrosis) and had to spend time in hospital for a few weeks, however I have since recovered and am now looking to go back into education.

My employment history: I am currently employed full time and I have been for the past 6 months, I am a customer experience leader at McDonalds and my role is to manage people in my work area and take care of customers if they have any issue. I have also worked at a local pub for 11 months as a kitchen porter when I was 14-15. 

My hobbies include: powerlifting and riding my motorbike, I am very passionate about both of them, I have been powerlifting for around maybe 10-12 months now and have made significant progress however after a motorcycle accident I had to take a few months off; I am fully recovered now and since have bought a new motorcycle, planning to repair old motorcycle as soon as possible. 

I have worked in customer service at McDonalds for around a month now (since being promoted to a customer experience leader)

I have also worked as a kitchen porter back in 2021-2022.

I have completed design technology GCSE and got a grade 4.

I also completed Business studies GCSE and got a grade 4.

I accomplished all 5s for mathematics and English despite having to spend two weeks hospitalised 4 weeks prior to my GCSEs
