I am an experienced Website Developer, specialising in Front-End development, with over 9 years of experience in the industry.

I am a skilled team player having worked closely with graphic designers and marketing experts to translate unique client requirements into action. I am skilled in all facets of front-end programming and am competent in numerous coding languages, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. I am also adept at delivering bespoke themes and plugins.

My detailed knowledge of responsive frameworks, (such as Bootstrap,) has allowed me to work alongside designers to create websites that deftly blend functionality, form, and style.

• I have over 9-years of experience in website development, primarily using WordPress, as well as some experience with Shopify, Drupal, Magento, and Craft CMS.
• I have been the sole front-end developer on many leading company projects.
• I am experienced in bespoke theme creation and have created a bespoke classic theme to develop web projects to meet specific client needs.
• More recently, I have created a bespoke block theme integrated with Gutenberg. This uses the full potential of the full site editor without adding unnecessary code, therefore reducing load times.
• I am experienced in using established page builders such as WP Bakery and Elementor. I have also developed my custom elements to expand the default WP Bakery plugin.
• I am adept at using Advanced Custom Fields and have developed my projects using just the Flexible Content element within the plugin. Many of the websites I have built use ACF to display bespoke content from my custom post types.
• I use GitHub to back up my work as well as using repositories to keep track of the progress of my work over different computers while keeping up to date with code changes from co-workers. I have used Gitlab (combined with Tortoise Git) to develop major projects that were deployed to development, staging, and live sites.
• I am experienced with using a variety of different control panels including those on Ionos, Cloudways, and WP engine. I also have experience in using the Plesk control panel.
• I have provided training to clients, both on the use of CMS systems in general and on the bespoke features we have created for their particular sites. I am experienced in explaining technical concepts to individuals who have little or no experience in the industry.
