Ceylon Reid

• My name is Ceylon Reid and I am 18 years old. 
• I am currently in a gap year where I take up many jobs. 
• I am a teaching assistant at Lets Act Drama School where I have been for the past 4 years. My role is teaching and photography.
•  As well as the drama school I work as a nanny for 4 families. Even though I have worked a lot with children and I have loved it I would like to broaden my horizon into other areas.
• I have recently registered with Brightsparks where in November I will be working  at a VIP event in Guildhall as a waitress which I am looking forward to.
• I helped worked a freshers event where I represented London zoo by promoting there patron programme.
  I also volunteer as a till operator at the British Heart Foundation. 
•  I am planning to take on many more exciting jobs during my year out.
• i consider myself to be an enthusiastic and fun person. I love being around people and speaking to new people and I am very good at working under pressure.

Teaching Assistant:

I am a teacher assistant at my acting school where I take all of the pictures and videos of the children and send it to the parents. I have been doing this for 4 years.

Till operator:

I volunteer at the British Heart Foundation as a till operator. I love doing this because I get to meet so many new people. I have doing this for 2 months.

Nannying:

I nanny for 4 different families. The ages are 16 months, 5 years old and the other 2 are 6 years old. In this role I pick them up from school, do their homework, bath time, dinner, stories then bed. I have been doing this for 2 years.

Brightsparks:

I have recently registered with Brightsparks, this is company where you work at many different events and festivals around London. I am soon to be working at a VIP event in Guildhall. 
 

Advocate:

I was an advocate for London Zoo where I worked at a freshers event at the RVC. we were promoting there patron programme which I enjoyed very much. I got to meet so many students who had the same passion as me.

Lambeth college:

I studied performing arts at Lambeth college. we put on many plays where I played so many different characters. I played an obsessive girlfriend, to a someone in a concentration camp to Medusa and so many more. This was a really fun course for me as I love acting. From this I got a distinction and decided I wanted to take a year out.
