Charles Griffiths

I am passionate about whatever I choose to do, I like challenges and getting into the detail. I like working with people and make friends easily, but do not suffer fools gladly. I enjoy mentoring younger people, and working hard for people I respect. 

I never lose my temper and strive to get buy- in from all my colleagues before venturing on a new direction. I like to take collegiate decisions after considering all opinions and points of view of my team

I have lived and worked in Europe, USA and Africa and have travelled extensively.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant I entered commerce ang worked for the Chloride Group as Gereral manager in Zambia, Egypt and Denmark before being promoted to the Executive Board as Marketing Director of Exide  Europe. I then went to work in a  startup in California where I took the position of International Sales  and Marketing Director. I left work for a few years to look after my Mother and then took a position as CFO in a startup called Cellpoint Digital based in Copenhagen and London. After leaving the company in 2019 I joined Welbeck and Bradwell Accountants as an M&A consultant.

Went to a school called Downside, obtained 9 O levels, 3 A levels and 1 S level. I attended the universities of Paris, Sorbonne, Grenoble and Manchester where I received  BA in Economic and Social Studies. I then passed the Chartered Accountancy examinations and have recently been promoted to FCA. While working as a General Manager in the Chloride Group I was sent on courses at Harvard Business School and Cranfield.
