Having finished A Levels in 2019, I decided to pursue a job in the super yacht industry. This started out at the Monaco Yacht show where I was responsible for driving high profile clients to different super yachts within Monaco on behalf of Y.CO super yacht brokers. Alongside this I was competing in singled handed dinghies achieving 3rd under 19 at the Laser Nationals. At the D-Zero Nationals I came 3rd overall and became the youth champion. In 2020, when Covid started to spread, the super yacht industry shut down stopping new workers from being recruited. I therefore worked at the local boatyard maintaining boats for clients while continuing to search for a job. At the end of the summer 2020, the industry began to reopen and I secured a job on Le Grand Bleu, a 115 metre motor yacht, where I helped to maintain the exterior and drive the various tenders. Having concluded that the lifestyle of super yachting was not for me, I decided to go to university to study business management. I chose the University of Southampton for it’s excellent business school and sailing opportunities. Throughout my time at Southampton I became heavily involved in both the sailing and ski societies. Within the ski society I became part of the race team competing against other universities in the south division and helping to organise logistics to get the team to competitions. Within the sailing society I was heavily involved in all aspects including winning the University yachting nationals two years in a row as both tactician and driver, managing a team of 8. For my dissertation, I looked at the effects of the increase in Hybrid working from Covid on company productivity, by interviewing various high level employees of media companies and then analysing the results. This produced some interesting conclusions which can be used for other media companies to help improve their productivity and was therefore awarded a First grade and led to me receiving a Dean’s list award for outstanding achievement. During this time, outside of university, I was pursuing a busy sailing calendar competing on yachts from 20 feet up to 140 feet at events such as the Richard Mille cup, Maxi europeans and worlds and the ClubSwan 50 worlds. Sailing on these larger boats show a level of professionalism, hard working attitude and the ability to work in a team with the larger boats having crews of over 30. 

From multiple house moves throughout my childhood, property has become a huge interest of mine leading to plenty of time spent on Rightmove looking at various houses for sale and respective floor plans. This, alongside with a love for sales from buying and selling cars and boats in the past in my spare time, has led to me deciding to pursue a career in estate agency to combine my love of property and sales.
