I am a dedicated and analytical student in my penultimate year at the University of Manchester, pursuing a degree in English Literature and History.

 Through my coursework, I have honed critical analysis skills, fostering a deep understanding of diverse historical and literary contexts. My commitment to societal betterment is reflected in my work experience at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation in York, a non-profit dedicated to tackling homelessness, housing issues, and poverty. This experience has strengthened my ability to engage with real-world challenges and inspired my interest in humanitarian law and politics.

 My academic journey has fueled a passion for international politics, motivating my aspiration to pursue a master's degree in this field. I am enthusiastic about leveraging my skills to contribute to positive change in society and economics.

With a tenacious work drive cultivated since the age of 16, stemming from a resilient journey in a low-income family, I bring a steadfast commitment to success and professional excellence. My notable professional experience includes contributing to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, where I engaged firsthand with the realities of care homes and council houses, fueling my determination to pursue studies in international politics. 
 

This immersive experience not only refined my understanding of societal challenges but also instilled in me a profound commitment to effecting positive change. Concurrently, during my A-Levels, I devoted myself to women's rights, actively participating in workshops and work experiences that underscored my dedication to fostering equality. My academic journey has been marked by excellence, with A-Level achievements of 2 A*s and 2 As, showcasing my dedication to rigorous studies. Notably, my Extended Project Qualification delved into the historical depictions of anti-Semitism, unveiling its impact on political oppression across different eras. In my first year at university, I achieved a commendable 70%, laying the foundation for a prospective first-class degree in English Literature and History. This academic prowess fuels my ambition to pursue a master's in International Relations, intending to leverage my skills for a broader global impact. Furthermore, my A-Level history coursework stands out, attaining full marks for a nuanced analysis of the Supreme Court's shortcomings during the Civil Rights movement and a comprehensive examination of economic disparities.
