Experience
Throughout my career, I have honed my communication skills and developed the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I have a natural talent for building and nurturing relationships, both internally and externally. In my previous role, I took ownership of our charity partnerships, working closely with organizations like Mind, Tech She Can, and Women in Tech to develop meaningful collaborations and drive positive change.
I believe a workplace should be an inclusive, supportive, collaborative, and safe space for people to be their true selves. I have created an Employee Wellness Strategy: providing structure around our Mental Health using the 5 Pillars of Mental Health model (Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Learn, Give). I helped launch our community hub and added DE&I resources, which has a designated wellness page where employees can access relevant resources to get support or advice.
I have a natural talent for building and nurturing relationships, both internally and externally. In my previous role, I took ownership of our charity partnerships, working closely with organisations like Mind, Tech She Can, and Women in Tech to develop meaningful collaborations and drive positive change.
I have also taken responsibility for external and internal communications, utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn, our internal hub, and our company website to effectively convey our message and engage with our audience. I understand the importance of clear and concise communication, and I am adept at tailoring my message to different stakeholders.
One of my proudest achievements is becoming a certified Mental Health First Aider. I am deeply passionate about promoting mental well-being and providing support to those in need. I believe that empathy and understanding are crucial in creating a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals. I actively work towards fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in every aspect of my life, and I am committed to making a positive difference in the world.
I have worked in schools, and have experience being around children. Firstly, as a boarding house tutor and as a French teacher. Most recently as supply Teaching Assistant at a local school, which I loved and quickly developed strong relationships with the children and teachers. I have an affinity with children and love being around them to hopefully help shape their future in a positive way.
I possess excellent communication skills and thrive on fostering good working relationships with people from a range of backgrounds. Being a part of a supportive and inclusive working environment is paramount to me and I would hope to add considerable value to any team.
I have a vast number of transferrable skills, having worked in many different environments and this has allowed me to gain confidence and skill sets in many areas, whether it’s communication, leaning how to use a new IT system or software, implementing a strategy or campaigning for a charity. My creativity inspires me to think of new ideas or ways to problem solve, which allows me to think outside the box. I am always looking for ways to better change or improve systems. Taking the time to listen to people, always being authentic and staying true to my word, is at the core of my being.
I have an ability to hyperfocus on any given task and can work autonomously. I also thrive in being part of a supportive team. I am very flexible and can work remotely or hybrid.
