   I am a proud and dedicated individual who now has 6 years of work experience in different environments which has led me to learn a great number of key skills such as time management, punctuality, independence, adaptability, great communication skills and a very good eye for detail. Over these 6 years, I have been able to work on my strengths and weaknesses as well as get a great understanding of how to help customers as well as work inside a big team and how even the smallest jobs help everything run smoother. I truly enjoy customer service and helping people no matter how difficult which was challenged during my job at mcdonalds and I came out loving it more.

In my free time, I love to research animal behaviours and biology as this helps with my drawings and animations of animals so I can complete them to a more accurate standard and also sell them as commissions online furthermore, I love to watch animal documentaries and listen to podcasts so I can keep learning about the behaviours of animals especially dogs as my dream would be to one day become a specialised dog trainer.

Another special interest of mine is to go fishing as this is a physical activity one of my main types of fishing was carp fishing as it was a challenge to learn how to play with the fish instead of bullying it like you would with smaller types such as roach or perch. I learnt different skills such as knot tying, testing various baits that worked better in different fisheries, and how to set up the fishing rods with the fishing line either a 12-pound fishing line or a 15-pound fishing line. I especially enjoyed the physically tiring work of all the different fishing tricks to catch the fish, I also had a tricky time with perches and how to gently and accurately use a disgorger. However, another great way I like to be physically active is to go swimming once a week as I have always had fond memories whilst doing so and I enjoy the full body workout it gives me.

January 18th - June 18th

Throughout my work experience here I enjoyed getting to work with dogs in a hands-on work environment where I learned so much about animal allergies and skin sensitivities as well as how and when to use certain equipment, helping to answer any customer's questions and talking to them about any health conditions the fellow dog groomers would need to know. An excellent example of this would be when grooming certain dog breeds such as Staffordshire bullterrier and west highland terriers would need a hypoallergenic shampoo or dog breeds with white fur would have whitening shampoo and in general most dog breeds would have shampoo to help with shedding during the spring and summer seasons. Another thing I was taught was how to use anti-fungal powders on the dog's claws if they accidentally cut down on the dog quickly.

Powis and partners, Amblecote - Work Experience

March for 1 week

During my time here I took great pride in every day getting to work with veterinarians who have years of experience working with animals and I looked forward to every day as I got to learn first and second-hand experiences. Some of the key skills I learnt here were reliability, independence, time management and organisation. An excellent example of these skills would be getting to witness how the veterinarians would show me how to do health checks for diagnosis and observe the animal's behaviours as well as being left alone to sterilise bowls for the animals and having a time frame to work so that everything could work smoothly. Another one of my most memorable moments during my working experience was when I stayed over 2 hours to observe a c-section performed on a jack Russel so I could learn more about how the procedure is carried out.

September 2021 June 2022

During my time here I have learnt how to be more adaptable and work with a team well as having an excellent eye for detail when it comes to preparing customers' orders and cleaning thoroughly. A strong example of this would be when I would be called in to cover a co-worker's shift if they called in sick on the same day. Furthermore, another good example would be when taking and preparing a customer's order as I would have to make sure to give them the exact change when they paid and pay attention to how they wanted their food and if there was anything they needed to have taken off. Also when it comes to cleaning the kitchen I would make sure to follow the food hygiene regulations so that no cross contaminations occurred and so everything was clean.

Yo sushi, stourbridge- part-time

September 2021 - to the current day

Throughout my time working at a yo sushi kiosk I have developed a lot of skills such as time management, organisation, independence and communication with customers. An example of these skills in my workplace would be when my manager leaves me alone with a list of production tasks that need to be completed on a strict deadline where I would use my independence to complete all the rolls necessary as well as restock the fridge and helping any customers with any queries they would have either about allergies or just in general about the products we supply.
