Non-profit / Volunteering
About Chelsee Madou:
I’m a college student actively looking for part-time work.
I view myself as hard-working, determined and responsible as I am always finding new ways to improve my skills. While I often feel satisfied working independently, I believe I thrive best when working with people in a group, where I am able to collaborate and connect with them.
I am able to work well with others in a team no matter the severity of the situation. I have no trouble with public speaking, so I will be able to communicate efficiently with customers too. I am also very handy and can carry out tasks quickly.
Alongside my studies at GCSE, I have shown dedication and responsibility by performing my duties as a prefect. These included mentoring, helping out at reception early in the mornings, monitoring students and acting as an positive example for them. I hope to be just as helpful and useful while working.
Experience
I have multiple past experiences in customer service where I have proven myself to be efficient and dependable. This includes my role as a Server for St Paul’s Church, where I proved my skills through presenting a friendly attitude to visitors and providing them with the highest quality service I could. The role involved tending to people in need by serving food and cold beverages in a fast-paced environment.
I believe that this greatly improved my communication and hospitality skills, and gave me the ability to quickly adapt to and thrive in high-pressure situations.
