Key responsibilities

• 3G UMTS 2100, 4G LTE900, 1800, 2100, 2600 & TDD2300, 5G NR (N1 and N78) NAS new sites (Outdoor/indoor) planning, optimisation, parameter change and database preparation. Completed, launched all new sites and maintenance both networks in good performance.
• Design 3G, LTE and 5G sites configuration and traffic loading sharing on LTE and 3G network.
• Arrange VIP Route, trunk road, district and railway drive test and optimisation. Ensure good RSRP and RSRQ, reduce call drop, call buffering and  RRC reestablishment of 3G, LTE VOLTE, 5G live streaming.
• Optimisation on 3G, LTE and 5G coverage and traffic loading on special event (Concert, Exhibition, festival etc).
• Handle complaint on 3G, LTE and 5G, take appropriate action such as drive test, stationary call test or call trace to solve problem especially VVIP.
• KPI monitoring for whole network or individual cell site, e.g. call setup failure, call drop rate, RRC setup failure rate, inter/intra handover successful rate, average/max user, UL/DL Tput.
• Handle and solve top tail cells in 4G/5G UL interference, poor UL/DL Tput, 4G Re-establish.
• Using some tools for radio planning and optimisation. Huawei Discovery, Qualcomm  QXDM tool, Hutchison developed tools RNM (planning PCI, RSI, inter/intra/NR to NR/4G to NR nbrs, X2 and EX2), RNI (RF signaling  RSRP/ SINR optimisation).

Key responsibilities

• 3G UMTS 2100 and 900, 4G LTE900, 1800, 2100, 2600 & TDD2300 new sites planning, optimisation, parameter change and database preparation.
• Success upgraded and launched from 4G to 4.5G CA (carrier aggregation).
• Whole network frequency refarm from UMTS 2100 to LTE 2100 and UMTS 900 to LTE 900. Turn off 2G PCN 1800 layer and refarm to LTE 1800.

• GSM/PCN new site frequency (BCCH & TCH) and neighbour planning.
• 2G statistics monitoring and troubleshooting.
• 2G optimisation actions such as sectorisations, cell additions, dual band upgrades, power adjustments, antenna re-orientation, antenna tilt change based on drive test and field test (TEMS).
• GSM/PCN cluster frequency retune, GSM & PCN traffic balance and channel expansion according to traffic congestion, high GOS  or blocking especially for special event and festival.
• Participate site survey, propose new site configuration, antenna layout and FNE diagram.
