About Christos Tsiamantas (CsTs):
I am an enthusiastic, experienced and well-rounded organic chemist with an exteded skillset in the field of biochemistry and chemical biology, acquired within both academic and industrial settings for a period of over 7 years.
I am passionate about embrassing new challenges, acquiring new skills and having a positive impact not only on my field but also on the people around me. I am a fast learner and I advocate that the greatest achievements are the outcome of unhindered information flow and communication.
My experimental capabilities range from multistep organic synthesis and peptide chemistry to in vitro transcription/translation, mRNA display and genetic code reprogramming methodologies. The above are only possible due to an extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in a plethora of purification and analytical techniques, including but not limited to, size exclusion chrom., normal & reverse phase (HP)LC, 1D/2D NMR, LCMS and MALDI-TOF MS. Additionally, I am a fast learner and manage time efficiently. However, what I consider my most valuable skill, beside my strong interpersonal skills, is my ability to learn and adjust rapidly to different scientific fields.
