Education

I have a Masters in Illustration and Authorial Practice (Distinction) and Bachelors in Illustration (First Class Honours). During my Masters’ and Bachelors’ degrees, I developed excellent project development skills by designing, writing, and producing multiple creative projects. Some of these creative projects included book design, product and packaging design, and editorial illustration. Through these projects I honed my skills in programmes like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Procreate. As a freelance illustrator, I have gained experience building connections by organising meetings with art directors at Macmillan, Nosy Crow, Flying Eye, Walker Books, and HarperCollins as well as working with clients like Mantra Lingua Publishing, Long Barn House, and Viridis Magazine.

In my current role, I have gained experience working across content writing, design, and digital marketing. My daily routine can involve writing, designing, and proofreading for books, papers, articles, email newsletters, and social media content. Additionally, I lead and deliver weekly marketing reports, manage multiple social media accounts, run email and ad campaigns. I have further advanced my experience in digital marketing by teaching myself how to use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Wordpress, MailChimp, WooCommerce, and Ahrefs. In relation to this, I have completed the Google Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course and the Ahrefs SEO course. I am also proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and iWork programmes.
