TOTAL EPCC OFON 2 PROJECTS (OFD3 &OFD5) / EGINA FPSO carried out at NIGERDOCK-FZE SNAKE ISLAND.
My deliverables include:
- Monitoring of day-to-day welding activities ensuring correct procedures are being adhered to and appropriate standards are being met, and control of welding consumables ensuring full availability of all welding related equipment.
- Ensuring all welding and inspection related equipment is suitably calibrated and reviewing QITP's and communicating to shop floor personnel.
- Ensuring welders have relevant qualifications to meet the standards set by the Company and its Clients and dealing with shop floor welding queries and liaising with other departments to resolve any issues.
- Recording and analysing errors for trends and assisting in suggesting/applying corrective actions, while ensuring all quality documentation is completed on time and to the required standard.

- Executed various NDT inspection techniques such as UT (TKY), MPI, PT, and RFI on USAN FLARE FPSO Project (P1 and S1, module P4, 15 sets of pressure vessels, the fabrication of the helideck and its support, the flare tower, the riser protector structures, the boat landings, the mooring protection structure) at Nigerdock Nig. Plc Snake Island Lagos for TOTAL.
- Ensured proper documentation, which comprise of NDT records of PT, RT, RFI and UT for management consumption.
