February 2025 – Senior Commercial Contract Delivery Manager, Microsoft

Commercial Lead for the second generation of the Met Office Supercomputer Programme.

• Leading the end-to-end commercial process for delivering Microsoft’s proposal for cloud, AI and supercomputing services to contractual milestones.
• Restructuring our £1.2bn contract within UK Public Contracts Regulation, building on lessons learned from first generation.
• Building new partner network to deliver enhanced performance within public contract supply chain framework.

2021-2024   VP Sales, Key Account Manager, Ericsson UK and Ireland

Led the Customer Team for MBNL, a JV for EE and 3UK, delivering Managed Service Operations and OSS for over 70% UK mobile network.

• Accountable and responsible for the Business Plan, P&L and financial reporting for £600m+ in a quarterly cadence in line with Ericsson’s accounting practice. 
• Led a team of 5 Account Directors/Managers and customer team, driving performance through operations, digital transformation, customer engagement, security and risk management.
• Led transformation from on-prem legacy to cloud, data driven operations. Navigated multiple risks and hit my financial targets.
• Managed complex stakeholder relationships across internal and external parties, implementing customer satisfaction measures to enhance our relationships. 
• Pioneered entry into new markets (Neutral Host and TowerCo), leading market research, strategy development, and execution. 
• Member of Ericsson UK and Ireland Leadership Team, contributing to business strategy and market positioning.

2017 – 2021      Key Account Manager, Red Bee Media (part of Ericsson)

Managed strategic customer engagements for the BBC’s global broadcast services, reaching 500M+ viewers with 99.999% uptime. 

• Led the Customer Team for the BBC account, covering value chain of cloud-based broadcast Managed Services 
• Delivered transformation to a fully redundant, digital, cloud operation. 
• Drove business development, building new business and customer propositions across multiple Business Units. 
• Attended and chaired governance from working level to C-Suite, managed complex Stakeholder network.
• Challenged and supported the Customer Team to deliver our contracts, leading an open culture and improving the working relationships, including hosting joint events, celebrating success and joint training programmes.
• Built Innovation partnerships and established EU collaborative research programme for 5G broadcasting.

2013 – 2017      Project and Programme Manager, Red Bee Media (part of Ericsson)

Directed operational and strategic technology programmes for major broadcasters. 

• Built secure, resilient, integrated workflows using cloud and API component based architectures for Disney.
• Led BT Sport launch for Media Management workstreams and managed 50+ BAU DevOps projects for UKTV.
• Coordinated security accreditations for BBC and Disney.

2011 - 2013      Cressbed Consulting

I set up a consulting business focused on digital innovation and research:

• Business Planning for a new video archive business for Firehorse ARC in Beirut, Lebanon.
• Writer and speaker for EU collaborative programme, PRESTO, around film and video archives in Amsterdam
• Research Assessor on the European Commission Framework programme for Archive Media in Brussels.
• Writer, The Commercial Trade in AV Archive (Screen Digest, now Omdia) – The first in depth valuation and analyses of the global archive market. In association with FIAT/IFTA and FOCAL International.

2008 – 2011      Co-Founder and Operations Director, Aframe 

Co-founded this early cloud media management and archive solution.

• Secured investment, established Sunderland office and won early contracts with BBC and Bridgeman Art Library.
• Developed solutions for metadata management and digital asset workflows.
• Won Smarta Innovation Award and Bully Award (2009).
