I have been in the Telecommunications industry for over 15 years, first working as a field technician and then moving into design and other office based roles. The 15 years has been spent working in both the UK and Australia.

In my previous roles, I have overseen diverse aspects of network design and management, culminating in exceptional project outcomes. Noteworthy achievements include:

• Effectively reviewing and executing a range of design and quality assurance activities for BDOD, ODM, FTTN, FTTB and FTTC projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications
• Strategically planning and designing cost-effective solutions for clients, resulting in solutions that marry technical excellence with budgetary constraints
• Functioning as a pivotal point of contact for field managers during the mid-construction phase, providing prompt and practical solutions to emergent design challenges and variations, thus ensuring seamless project progression

Outside of work I enjoy most sports, particularly rugby, cricket and football. I also enjoy music and a a very much part-time guitarist. Before working in Telecommunications I spent several years working in South Africa and Botswana as a videographer and editor on various wildlife productions.
