I am passionate about children's services and ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive. I have a unique background in education, residential and mental health and am a proven effective manager.

Experience

I have worked in children's services for over 21 years and have been an effective manager/leader within both residential and education. I currently work in a school and one of my successes is creating a robust pastoral support team and opening and managing a SEMH provision within the school for children who have suffered trauma. 

Education

I have completed the level 5 in leadership and management, along with a diploma in counselling and other relevant diplomas and courses. I am a qualified THRIVE practitioner and am in the process of completing an MA in leadership in education in mental health and well-being.
