I am a mature gentleman who is articulate and passionate about writing and communications. I have wide and varied experience as a writer, public relations practitioner, content writer and digital marketer. 

Over the years, I have perfected the art of storytelling. This journey began with my role as a sports correspondent for a Sunday newspaper, where I mesmerised audiences with engaging blow-by-blow accounts of sports reports. Since then, I developed a knack for keeping up to date with local, regional and international current affairs 

This was followed by a stint as a corporate communications officer for a telecommunications services provider.  

During this course of my career, I have been; 

• An in-house magazine editor
• A speechwriter, 
• A writer of press releases, press and customer enquiries
• A web and blog content writer
• A copywriter of promotional material
• A writer and designer of digital publications,
• A writer of white papers, presentations and reports among other writing roles. 

This role gave me the opportunity to communicate the brand's messaging to different audiences through various platforms. 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager. I was also a vital cog in developing creative ideas for use in campaigns that support internal and external communication programmes.

In my last role as a Content Writer, one of my main duties was to write content that was 

1. engaging to the reader, 
2. created awareness of the products and services offered 
3. content that led to sales

In addition, the content writing role included social media posts, marketing emails as well as creating posts for Google Ads
