- Planning all material purchases through MRP system (ECI M1) for set suppliers, buying raw materials, Laser cut, machined, fabricated parts, OEM & electro-Numatics, Hydraulic components & electrical. All parts obtained in line with BOMs and production plan.
- Day to day supply chain management, raising purchase orders, dealing with shortages/discrepancies on stock, supply changes impacted by different departments, Stakeholder management.
- Forecasting and setting stock levels based on demand.
- Contract management with existing suppliers, setting up new contracts, contract negotiation & monitoring contract performance and ensuring contracted targets are met.
- Managing relationships with suppliers, internal, Europe, & China, Supply chain management, Sourcing, and re-sourcing, outsourcing.
- Supply chain analysis and order analysis, finding supply chain issues and implementing solutions, supply chain analytics.

Key achievements
- Large scale projects on indirect procurement functions which include, company tooling & machining, facilities management which include building maintenance, company software, energy contracts, leading in better efficiency and cost reductions.
- Successful re-sourcing projects on large scale supply chain issues on hydraulic components, 3.1 safety critical Components, dealing with supply cain direction post Brexit, post Covid, ensuing continuation on production.
- Identifying Cost savings, track record of over 900K saved to date, this includes increases in productivity within goods in and the factory floor, through new consignment projects which include line side consumables, fasteners & electrical items, and Subcontract analysis.
- Contracts created and carried through on all key suppliers.
- Applying continuous improvement and monitoring suppliers through performance with use of KPIs.
- Supplier consolidation from 180 suppliers down to 105 suppliers.
Certas Energy (DCC Energy) Kingswinford
Inventory controller - 01/08/2019 – 18/02/2022.
- Managing all packed lubricants purchases in packed sector using two ERP/MRP (Visma Business & CODAS Systems) which includes IBC’s, Barrels, 20L, boxed, Working within budget of 21M+.
- Production planning, Procuring raw material, base oil/additives in line with demand and the production plan.
- Ordering all orders in line with demand, managed from the point of ordering, to leaving the supplier, receipting, and invoicing.
- Setting stock levels based on quarterly sales data. Creating strong relationships with European suppliers to ensure all.
Key achievements
- Setting stock holding in line with end of year financial goals to reach targets, by reducing stock holding whilst keeping supply available for sales.
- Successful projects in setting up third party storage to reach rebate targets with key suppliers.
- Collaboration with SIOP to launch promotions, ensure lead times are easily accessible giving full transparency with all teams for a stronger customer focus on procured goods.
