I am currently in my final year studying a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Fitness through UCS, in partnership with UHI and Rangers FC.

February 2024- Present:  Rangers FC Girls Academy Sports Science Intern

August 2022- Present: Rangers Soccer Academy Volunteer Coach

February 2024- February: BSC Glasgow Girls Academy Sports Science Intern

Skills and Interests:

The area of sports science is a large interest of mine in both physical performance and public health. I have been able to expand my knowledge of sports science through my degree, work experience and personal research. My work experience has also allowed me to improve my communication, presentation and relationship skills through working with large groups and colleagues. I also have experience within the customer service industry in my part time job at Office Shoes. This role requires good communication and relationships with members of the public/customers. I have also played football for over 15 years and currently play for Eastwood Parkmount AFC in the Greater Glasgow premier 1 league. 

Rangers FC Girls Academy Sports Science Intern- Duties/ Role; oversee the physical development of the U16s and U18s Girls Academy, planning and taking upper and lower body strength sessions and explosive power sessions (plyometrics), planning and taking warmups and activation sessions (SAQ), working with injured players through adapting sessions and monitoring load, testing and reviewing/ interpreting testing data.

BSC Glasgow Girls Academy Sports Science Intern- Duties/ Role; planning and delivery warmups and activation sessions (SAQ), mobility and flexibility sessions, diagnosing injuries and making rehabilitation plans, explosive upper body and lower body sessions.

Rangers Soccer Academy Volunteer Coach- Duties/ Role; delivering sessions with other Rangers’ soccer academy coaches, planning out and taking sessions, providing fun and safe learning environment, working and communicating with other coaches, adapting sessions due to numbers and equipment.
