Currently, I am teaching myself Laravel and IT Support in order to maintain and develop my knowledge and skills.
Junior Web Developer: Hindsight App Ltd-Government Kickstart: May – Nov 2021
My role involved improving the Hindsight App Ltd website, which is for accountants. This included amending inbuilt Medtronic KTDatatables to the jQuery JavaScript plugin Datatables.net. Additionally, I used CSS and Bootstrap to improve layout and styling, and SQL commands to make changes and improvements to the information obtained from the Relational Database. The changes and improvements I have made have been approved by quality control, have now gone live and are currently being used. I have gained experience in PHP8 with OOP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL, Git (GitHub), Agile (2-week sprints), JSON and diagnostic, debugging, problem-solving skills and Relational Database skills.
Junior Web Developer: Vertical Plus Ltd: Nov 2020 – Feb 2021
Duties included making improvements to the company’s administration system web application. The skills employed were PHP8, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL, Vue.js, Symfony, Composer, diagnostic, debugging, problem-solving skills and Relational Database skills.
Foundation Degree Year 2 Apr – JUN 2019
My Foundation Degree Year 2 Advanced Project included rebuilding, developing, and improving The Shed at Chelston Workshops WordPress website. They are a community group of local volunteers. The brief included understanding the client's requirements, designing a new website, and holding regular meetings to discuss the progress of the project and agree on how it should proceed. Clients continued to use the new site.
