About Daniel Jones:
I am a hardworking, enthusiastic,
and ambitious individual who has
gained a wide range of
experiences and skills within my
apprenticeship and working life as
a light vehicle Technician at BMW.
I am a motivated person and
driven by the ambition to expand
my horizon, skill set and
knowledge while also
experiencing different cultures
and exploring new environments.
Skiing has been a passion of mine
for the majority of my life, having
been visiting the Alps since being
5 years old. Living amongst the
mountains has always been a
dream of mine and I would love
the opportunity to experience this.
I feel confident that I have the
commitment and enthusiasm
required for the position as well as
being eager to learn and to
continue my development.
Experience
September 2015-August 2016
Working at McDonalds was my first experience working in the Catering

experience for the first time working in a fast-paced working
environment, working as a team to give the best possible customer
experience.
Royal Oak pub
September 2016-July 2017
Working at the Royal Oak I worked in a small team as a waiter and bar
man. What I enjoyed most about this job was being able to form close
working relationships with my colleges and being able to gain a
personal repour with customers. This allowed me to gain valuable
experience in face-to-face customer service. My responsibilities
included servicing food and drinks, handling money, changing barrels,
and mixing cocktails.
Soper BMW
August 2017 – September 2022
For the first 3 years working at Soper BMW I worked as an apprentice
working towards a level 3 in light vehicle engineering qualification, I
successfully gained this as well as achieving the level of BMW technician, I was working as a BMW technician for 2 years. My duties at
Soper BMW included servicing, Diagnostics, and repairs on both
standard and high voltage vehicles.
Linde Material Handling
October 2022-present
I have worked at Linde Material handling as a field service engineer, my
roles included - service, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of
Counterbalances, reach and ride on trucks. I was responsible for
managing my own time, organising bookings with customers, ordering
parts, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction. Being a field service
engineer meant I was working outside for a large proportion of time
and was never working in the same place from one day to the next.
Education
I worked at McDonalds and royal oak pub which gave me experience working in a fast paced environment in the catering industry.
