Danielle Fillingham

My name is Danielle and I am currently studying a masters in Adult nursing as I enjoy working in a person-centred environment and helping people. However, my true passion is in the creative field. My passion for creative work out weighs my current degree as I often receive compliments for my attention to detail, hard work and determination when producing projects, and a drive for working in a dedicated team to come up with great and innovative new strategies. I began my education in theatre and performance studies as I enjoyed being creative but was not aware of the possibilities and capabilities I had for more project based work. That is why I would love to learn about the marketing strategies and how to utilise various platforms to begin a career in something that I am truly passionate about.

  I would be sad to leave my current master’s degree, however I feel that I have gained a lot of valuable person-centred skills that I can use towards an apprenticeship in digital marketing. I am not usually a “quitter”, but I just cannot miss out on this opportunity for my own personal growth, and the potential I could be within your company.

  I am well-versed with social media and tend to spot trends very early on. I know that with my attention to the finer details, my quick learning methods, and an understanding of timekeeping and deadlines I would be a great asset through provided training and the skills that I can evolve. I am prepared to work hard on becoming the best that I can be and my skill set is already aimed towards this and I have the drive to succeed and to overcome any challenges I may face.

I am an observant, adaptable person who likes to take on challenges with an inquisitive view. I enjoy reading between the lines, working within a team and staying intellectually curious. I have great people skills, enjoy looking into the finer details of a project and I can manage my time effectively. I have a degree in theatre and performance from the University of Surrey, and I am currently working on a master’s degree in Adult Nursing at the University of Chester, however, I am looking for a creative path to begin my career in digital marketing. My passion for digital marketing suits my way of working, I am prepared to learn about how to be successful within this role.
