Danielle Manley

Iam a qualified adult staff nurse working within emergency medicine. I am a mother of teenage son, and enjoy downtime such as holidays. I am a motivated, punctual team player, and have good communication skills. 

I am a qualified staff nurse in the field of emergency medicine, and I have 5 years experience in Bradford Royal Infirmary Accident and Emergency department, and almost 2 years as a qualified A+E nurse. I am skilled in the management of long term conditions such as IHD, COPD, Diabetes and Asthma. I have experience in managing complications of long term conditions. I have experience in medicines management of most routes, and experienced in working with MDTs facilitating care plans for ongoing care as inpatients or discharged to primary care. I have 5 years experience of phlebotomy, cannulation, ECG competancy and undertaking blood transfusions. I have experience and training in wound management. I have experience of treating and managing life threatening conditions such as cardiac arrest, intubated patients

 and anaphylaxis. I have experience mentoring and supervising newly qualified nursing staff and have mentored many student nurses during placements. I would like to expand my continuing professional development by branching out to the primary care sector and would like to persue a new career in primary care. 

I have a first bachelors degree, from the University of Bolton and registered as an NMC professional. Iam currently employed by Bradford Teaching hospitals Foundation Trust. I have many competancies such as phlebotomy trained, trained to interpret blood results, triage trained, and trained a supervisor for student nurses and newly qualified nurses.
