Darsha Podithuwakku

I introduce myself as an accounting professional with nine years of hand working experience being exposed to accounting functions in leading organisations in Sri Lanka engaged in auditing & taxing, cable manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, and tea brokering. This exposure has given me a wide accounting background where I have made strides & achievements in the respective field from Trainee to executive level. Finally, it has culminated me to achieve a level 7 Master’s Degree in Accounting and finance from Sheffield Hallam University UK. These have talented me to contribute my services to wherever I work with dedication & innovation.

I have excellent analytical skills and the important ability to function well both independently and in fast-paced team environments. I was given the responsibility of preparing financial reporting, Management reporting processes, cash flow management, administration, and Liaising with external stakeholders such as bankers, and auditors. Further, I am involved in annual budgeting.

I have completed my Master’s Degree, MSc. Accounting and Finance at Sheffield Hallam University, UK with merit classification, and have completed Post Graduate Diploma in Business Finance and Strategy.

 Currently, I am a student member and studying the management level of CIMA.
