IT Delivery Manager
Unipart Logistics, Nuneaton | July 2023–Jan 2025
• Delivery Manager for multiple clients, deploying software releases.
• Managed the team supporting the client, covering both commercial and technical areas. Co-ordinated the workload of resources assigned to that client and worked directly with the client on release management and end to end testing, co-ordinating timelines and resources.
• Project managed a compliance remediation project for a major client after an audit. Clarified owners for each finding and progressed these through to completion, at all times keeping stakeholders informed.
• Regular tasks included Stakeholder Management, maintaining Planners and Budget Trackers, managing Risks and Issues, Escalation Management, Resource Management (incl.Timesheets), cutover activity and deployments.
• Learned the Google platform and developed a forecasting tool for resources used across all clients until another solution was found.
IT Operations Manager
Miele GB, Abingdon | Jul 2022–May 2023
• Managed a small IT Support team and was responsible for all systems (not ERP or CRM) including Telecoms.
• Maximising the organisations use of M365, enabling take up of Power Automate and Power BI.
• Built a training suite around the use of Teams and other M365 products.
• Modified the teams’ working hours to be a better fit for optimum support period. Introduced check in's.
• Implemented a Digital Signage solution, produced meeting room troubleshooting guides.
• Completed ISO Audit, introduced annual review of all the Process and Procedures and covered the Data Protection Officer role.
Head of TechnicaI Operations
Prolinx Ltd, Swindon | Jan 2021–May 2022
• Managed a team of 3rd Line Technical Engineers and also responsible for 1st and 2nd Line Teams.
• Worked closely with our Resourcing and Project Teams to balance workload and deliver priority projects.
• Developed the company's first Communications Charter, implemented Digital Signage solution and Business Intelligence solution (Dundas).

Bayer PLC, Newbury/Reading | Sept 1987–Oct 2020
• Worked alongside global colleagues to direct the strategic planning and management of infrastructure, applications and operations adhering to global frameworks and KPI’s.
• Developed the skills and motivation of an Operations team to become “Best in Europe” within Bayer.
• Managed multiple re-organisations of IT organisation locally. The major one achieved £1m cost saving by consolidating three IT departments into one.
• Developed extensive Application Portfolio locallyusing Lotus notes, Sharepoint and Mendix platforms.
• Managed the global roll-out of a new video platform which significantly enhanced internal collaboration.
• Delivered business improvement through the rollout of the Win 10 platform and the move to Office 365.
