Currently moving careers after climbing the education ladder to lead on Department for Education contracts and work with big stakeholders (amazon, meta, GSK) on career pipelines and upskilling young people into STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

Writing

Currently editing Fresh Tracks Magazine, a luxury snow sports and lifestyle magazine for an affluent client base in the French Alps. Articles include, artist interviews, food and drink, a comprehensive What's On guide, Kit reviews, heritage and culture and local advice on the best places to visit in resort. An ideal role as I love snowboarding!

My experience in writing began as a hobby, writing for Kettlemag; a student magazine run by Red Chilli publishing. I cut my teeth on articles including sport, politics and history, but found my niche at that time was writing music reviews. I quickly became the editor of the music column and worked with a number of promoters in the industry to generate leads for our writers.

Professional experience includes writing interpretation and developing bespoke activities for visitor attractions, including the Royal Hospital Chelsea and Natural History Museum, working within a small team to increase visitor numbers by 324% through management of events and outreach . 

My role as a science interpreter and teacher has required me to distil complex issues into manageable aphorisms which along with writing scientifically, consulting on bids and understanding Government white-papers, provides an arsenal of writing styles for me to draw upon.
