I am a hard working, honest individual. I am a good timekeeper, always willing to learn new skills. I am friendly, helpful and polite, have a good sense of humour. I am able to work independently in busy environments and also within a team setting.

I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. I have a passion for cooking, traveling, playing golf, cycling, and reading. I also love taking my son to football matches. In addition to these activities, I am passionate about running and regularly participate in events such as ParkRun, 10k races, and half marathons.

Over 25 years experience in the lighting manufacturing industry. I have been involved in all aspects of business, such as Product Management, Production & Operations, Sales and most recently, a partner in a lighting manufacturing company. This experience has equipped me with a broad skill set, including leadership, process optimization, and effective team collaboration

I have worked closely with clients and suppliers on bespoke LED lighting projects, utilising the latest Technology to ensuring their design briefs and project expectations are met with precision and creativity.

Although my career has been in lighting, my experience will enable me to bring these transferable skills to other industries. I am a conscientious individual who thrives in dynamic environments, with a strong attention to detail and a flexible, quick-to-learn attitude.

I have spent all my working life within lighting industry, I served a engineering apprenticeship with mechanical and electrical engineering. In recent years, I worked closely with the LIA and their QA system to ensure products are manufactured safely and efficiently. I have enjoyed the transition to LED learning how this technology can bring new ideas for product design, integrating aspects of standard and wireless technology it into existing and new products, as well as helping customers with bespoke product design projects.
