About Deepa Patel:
I bring over 20 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, having developed my career from HR Assistant through to HR Manager, HR Business Partner, and currently as an HR Consultant in a standalone firm. My background includes working within large organisations where I managed teams, as well as operating independently as a standalone HR Manager. I have also worked in a unionised environment and developed skills to work in partnership.
I am passionate about HR and committed to delivering a high-quality service that supports and enhances business objectives. Over the years, I have built a strong, practical understanding of the entire HR life cycle and consistently contributed to driving organisational success.

- Employee Relations: Proven ability to manage and resolve complex employee issues, ensuring compliance with employment law and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Skilled in end-to-end recruitment, including job design, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning.
- Performance Management: Experienced in implementing performance appraisal systems and supporting managers with feedback, development plans, and disciplinary processes.
- HR Policy & Compliance: Strong knowledge of employment legislation and experience developing, updating, and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
- Learning & Development: Designed and delivered training programs to support employee growth, leadership development, and skills enhancement.
- Change Management: Supported organisational change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE, Voluntary and Compulsory Redundancy Programmes.
- HR Systems & Analytics: Proficient in using HRIS (e.g., BrightHR, SiMS) generating reports, and using data to inform decision-making.
- Strategic HR Partnering: Experience advising leadership teams and aligning HR strategy with overall business goals ensuring that advice and solutions are fit for purpose contrasting SME with multi-sited unionised companies.
- Compensation & Benefits: Knowledgeable in pay structures, benchmarking, job evaluation, (Agenda for Change NHS,and administering benefits packages.
- Standalone & Team Leadership: Comfortable working autonomously or leading HR teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

MA in HRM CIPD accredited
BA Hons Business Studies Degree 1st Class
10 GCSEs including maths and English
