Dianne Dundas

I have over 25 years’ experience as a Project Manager and the work excites me now every bit as much as it did when I began my career.  This is due to the huge diversity of projects that I have worked on.  I hold a 2:1 BSc Hons in European Regional Development, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice and I am Prince 2 qualified.  I am currently undertaking a course on Strategic Change Leadership for Digital Transformation at QUB - William Clinton Leadership Institute.  I work with a wide range of innovative businesses in all kinds of different sectors.  I advise and work with companies to put together well written applications for funding, which I then present to funding panels.  When funded, I project manage the projects through to a successful completion.  I am an excellent networker and I introduce companies to potential partners on a regular basis.  

I am a Prince2 qualified senior Project Manager/Innovation Specialist.  Over my 26 year career, I have facilitated hundreds of SMEs to grow their businesses by helping them to develop trade and become more innovative. I regularly facilitate collaborative partnerships using my business networks.  I am an effective communicator and I regularly present at committee and Board meetings.  I sit on funding assessment panels and I influence the outcome of funding applications. I am regularly responsible for procuring expertise. This involves me designing and writing terms of reference, for multi million pound contracts.  I oversee the procurement process, review, award and project manage the contracts.  I co-ordinate PR activities and I manage budgets of up to £3 ½ M per annum.  I am also an active member of the strategic funding team within InterTradeIreland which is tasked with developing future organisational strategy and attracting new sources of funding.
