HR People Consultant (Lloyds Banking Group – Edinburgh)

  • Managed the end-to-end vetting process for new colleagues joining the Group, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience while maintaining high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ensured full compliance with Home Office regulations and adhered strictly to the Group’s internal Colleague Screening Standards, mitigating risk and safeguarding the business against compliance breaches.
  • Collaborated closely with internal teams and external third-party vetting providers to streamline screening processes, resolve delays, and continuously improve turnaround times, contributing to an enhanced candidate and hiring manager experience

People Onboarding Coordinator (Phoenix Group – Edinburgh)

  • Led the training and integration of new team members by delivering structured onboarding sessions, developing training materials and guidance documents, and ensuring a smooth transition into the department’s workflows and culture.

  • Oversaw the end-to-end employee onboarding experience, ensuring that new joiners received timely communication, essential resources, and a consistent introduction to company culture and policies.
  • Supported the recruitment process by coordinating interview scheduling, issuing offer letters and other relevant documentation, and serving as a key point of contact between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
