As a psychology graduate with an MSc in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Strathclyde, I bring a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge and diverse practical skills to the role. My experience as a Healthcare Assistant and Trainee Assistant Psychologist has refined my core competencies in active listening, effective communication, and a person-centered approach, all essential for enhancing patients' well-being and recovery.
Throughout my placements, I have engaged in various clinical and research roles, conducting psychological assessments, delivering low-intensity interventions, and contributing to multidisciplinary team case formulations and risk assessments. Utilizing clinical interview techniques and psychometric measures, I have ensured comprehensive and holistic care for individuals with diverse psychological and physical health conditions.
My commitment to continuous professional development is evident in my adherence to psychological standards and classifications such as BPS, HCPC, DSM, and ICD.
