Donna Peters

I have been involved with Bridgend Community Bereavement Support (BCBS) since it was founded in 2017. BCBS is a charity supporting adults and children who are struggling with grief. 

Over the past few years I have supported clients with difficulties ranging from anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, PTSD, loss, relationship breakdowns and more complex mental health illnesses such as Bi-polar and Schizophrenia. 

My background is in occupational therapy enabling those with complex needs to improve their health and well-being following illness or surgery. 

My experience has enriched my warmth and compassion to connect with others. 

I am continuing my studies with level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling to improve my skills to work integratively.
