About Edmée Duval-Koenig:
I’m a London-based French creative currently working as a Production Coordinator and Junior Producer at a content production company.
My passion lies in storytelling, I have thus not ever limited myself to working in a single sector of the entertainment industry. Having started my career in theatre before moving to film and online content production, my wide range of skills gives me the ability to see the bigger picture, anticipate needs and be a pro-active team member.
I would be thrilled to discuss how my background and skills align with your needs, and I hope to have the opportunity to work together soon!
Experience
As a Production Coordinator, I manage a range of projects, from advertisements and social media content to long-form documentaries and trailers. I work closely with clients throughout the entire production process, from initial brief to final delivery, allowing me to develop strong skills in communication, administration, and client relations.
My work also involves significant creative responsibilities, including story development and pitching, which I find incredibly rewarding. Most recently, I was part of the casting team for our short film, starting Rob Auton and Luke McQueen.
I have had the privilege of collaborating with prestigious clients in the theatre and entertainment industries, such as Soho Place for Red Pitch, Disney Theatrical Group’s West End and touring shows, and the immersive experiences The F1 Experience and The Friends Experience for Immerse London. These experiences have given me the chance to adapt to a wide variety of environments and workflows, but my passion for theatre and storytelling remains a constant driving force.
Education
My most relevant education is Theatre Making - Performance, Politics, and Society and Goldsmiths, during which I studied the intersectionality between all of the above. Having previously also studied Politics and international relations, I was able to thrive in studying theatre through a cultural and sociological lens.
During both my degrees in Theatre Making - Performance, Politics, and Society at Goldsmiths and International relations at Leiden University, I was chosen as President of the Drama Society, where I discovered my love for production and creating the perfect team to bring a script to life.
After completing my degree at Goldsmiths, I spent several years honing my skills within fringe theatre, primarily working as a stage manager. This experience gave me a solid foundation in storytelling and collaborative work, which I’ve continued to build upon in my current role at a video production agency.
