As a high-achieving entrepreneur with a commercial mindset and extensive experience within molecular biology/life sciences, I hold a unique skill set. 

Throughout my career, I have proven my ability to identify and pursue opportunities. My skill set is versatile and highly transferable. I am currently owner and director of Nuts & Sprinkles Ltd where I have demonstrated my strong insights into market and customer trends to successfully penetrate the UK market and built a larger customer base. 

Additionally, holding a Masters in Molecular Biology & Genetics from Bogazici University, I have acquired a solid foundation in molecular biology principles, advanced laboratory techniques, and research methodologies. During my Masters studies, I demonstrated my abilities by executing a comprehensive research project as part of the programme. During a span of over three years, I assumed full responsibility for a comprehensive project from its inception to completion, demonstrating unwavering dedication and perseverance. This project focused on the identification of Interferon Regulatory Factor 4 (IRF4) - Interacting Proteins in Melanoma Cell Lines and expanded my knowledge of proteomics and interactome studies. 

Throughout the project, I sought guidance and consultation from my supervising Principal Investigator, Assoc. Prof. N.C. Tolga Emre. This collaborative approach ensured that I benefitted from expert insights while retaining autonomy in decision-making and implementation. I have a strong command of experimental design and data analysis, enabling me to formulate rigorous experiments, interpret complex datasets, and derive meaningful insights to advance scientific knowledge. Collaboration and teamwork form the core of my work philosophy, and these principles have been consistently applied throughout my career, fostering an environment that encourages knowledge sharing and fuels innovation within multidisciplinary teams. My exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, have played a pivotal role in conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences. This ability has proven invaluable in bridging gaps and ensuring a seamless flow of ideas within the team. Adaptability and thriving in diverse team settings have become second nature to me. 

Throughout my positions I have demonstrated my influential skills and I have been responsible for setting high standards, forward planning and the management and implementation of change. I am practical, pragmatic and creative and always seek to find solutions to problems that produce the best results for all parties where at all possible.
