Experience

I am an experienced, commercially focused Development Programme Manager with a thorough

understanding of housing development, project and contract management, and compliance. I have

good knowledge of the statutory and legal requirements, and economic and political challenges faced

in a changeable operating environment. I am self-motivated, and I make it my personal commitment

to ensure continual professional and business improvement.

I’m resilient and lead by example, and I have extensive experience in leading, motivating, and line

managing project management teams to ensure they are invested and understand the vision and

goals required to ensure consistent collective success in achieving business plan objectives and

regulatory compliance.

I support Directors in developing and incorporating business plan, operational and growth strategies,

preparing and presenting reports to committees, financial monitoring and budget setting, monitoring

department performance against KPIs, realising new business opportunities, and undertaking stock

rationalisation and option appraisals while maximising financial returns.

I have first hand experience in delivering and coordinating mixed tenure end to end projects, new

business pipeline, on site delivery, and disposal focused work streams. I have delivered high profile

and more complex housing, regeneration, extra care, commercial and joint venture projects from

inception to completion.

I am proficient in foreseeing risk, problem solving and finding long-term suitable solutions rapidly,

while considering the financial and commercial impact. I’m detail focused with a background in

multidisciplinary auditing. I’m very driven and work at my best in a fast paced and changeable

environment.

I have good knowledge and experience of contract management, and awareness of contract law. I

have the ability to manage development agreements and build contracts to ensure the best output by

forming strong contractual foundations by negotiating contract structures and pricing, and tailoring

specifications and employer requirements, which are then used to inform and manage contractor

performance.

I am communicative and intuitive, and I have strong stakeholder management experience, with a

good track record of building new and maintaining good working relationships, and influencing and

negotiating with internal and external customers, multidisciplinary teams, consultants and approving

bodies.
