Eleanor Murray

I am a curious and friendly person with a cheerful demeanour and a passion for being challenged. I am a hardworking and experienced PA looking for a new opportunity. 

I have been working at Gallagher for 6 years. First as a receptionist on a temporary basis before I was hired permanently to cover reception and switchboard. This role involved welcoming clients, supporting staff in arranging meetings and events and co-ordinating with the catering team. 
From there I was hired as a PA to a managing director within the company. My role has developed over the past four years growing in responsibility and knowledge of the business. I have managed multiple diaries simultaneously, arranged travel, managed expenses and invoices, produced meeting packs and minutes and been involved and even taken the lead on some smaller projects. 

I obtained a 2:1 in American Studies (Literature) from the University of Kent In 2014. As an interdisciplinary course this allowed me to explore a wide range of topics from Coming of Age literature to Criminology satisfying my thirst for knowledge. 
My degree required a year abroad which I spent at the University of Tennessee which exposed me to new styles of teaching and learning and enhanced my ability to adapt. It also gave me a chance to grow in confidence and independence as I travelled across 12 cities in 8 states in 6 weeks.
