Elise Powis

I am a hard worker who can work on her own and as part of a team. I can use my initiative about what needs doing, and I use my time effectively. I have a passion for animals especially small animals such as cats and dogs. I have over 3 years experience handling dogs and treating them. I have a dog of my own, and I have 4 cats as well, who I spend time with and playing with. 

I have been in a hydrotherapy centre for the past 3 years where I have effectively handled all types of dogs, such as those in pain, those with a spinal condition, or those that can be aggressive. I have been involved in cleaning the centre, and have moved up to being a hydrotherapist where I have treated multiple breeds of dogs. 

I have 5 years worth of relevent education, I studied animal management and science at Lackham College and then went on to study BSc(Hons) Applied Animal science with Therapy at Hartpury university.
