Elliot Drury-Crockett

Hello, my name is Elliot and I am a very hard working, reliable and considerate young man, I have a broad range of experience working outdoors in horticulturalist roles, assistant greenkeeper and also volunteering with Tees Valley wildlife Trust, i have a true  passion for working outdoors and with animals. I'm always looking to grow and progress in these type of fields, my main aspirations are in agricultural roles or working as a Ranger for the North Yorkshire National Park Authority.

i started off by Volunteering for the Teesvalley wildlife trust for three months which involved, land maintenance, litter picking, conservation projects and charity work which then lead on to my apprenticeship in horticulture, working for Middlesbrough Environmental City, I gained skills in planting trees, sowing seeds, grounds maintenance, growing vegetables, use of non powered tools, repairing fencing and use of petrol powered machinery which included, strimmers, mowers and hedge cutters. After I completed my year long apprenticeship I worked through a different variety of jobs before I began working as an assistant greenkeeper at Hunley Hotel & Golf Course, there I worked on tractors and also furthered my experience in using petrol powered machinery and also performed tasks such as cutting around tee’s, moving tee’s, moving holes, cutting along fairways and golf ball collecting using a tractor. After finishing my six months there I went on to work in Canada.
