I have always had a passion for helping others, passion to empower them and make them feel special and at peace with themselves. I feel this is my mission. Last year I started studying Psychology at the University of Bradford, which opened up my eyes on demand in mental health sector. I would love to be a part of something bigger, an organisation that help people change their life for the better by helping them to manage addictions, get the best support with mental health disorders and help them to regain control over their lives.
Experience

I have over 13 years of experience working with people who suffer from physical disabilities and learning disabilities, who are blind and deaf. For the past 3 years I have been working in Senior Care assistant role. The skills I acquired as a health care assistant are: being patient, being humble, well organised, punctual, responsible, prioritise client's needs and follow their care plan, active listening is another skill which I use a lot at work, excellent communication skills, showing empathy and not judging clients are crucial in my role and help me build a good and trusting relationship with service users. I have basic IT skills, driving licence and I am a car owner. I communicate in native Polish and fluent English language and I know basic British Sign Language. At work I have done all compulsory training: First Aid, Safeguarding Adults, DOLs, Equality and Diversity, Person Centred Care Planning, COSHH, Manual Handling, Dementia Awareness, Epilepsy Awareness.
