I am a graduate of fashion design. However, I am looking to further my career in costume design and production. I have a keen interest in dance and theatre, shown by my attendance of ballet classes since my youth, and I have been creating and altering costumes since I started, and I expanded upon that when I began to take commissions.  I have been working in costume for 4 years now, however i am looking to settle into a role and work my way in a company. 

My proudest accomplishment was of a commission done, I was tasked to create a corset base for the costume and to build up a faux fur and faux leather armour set, modelling an arm gauntlet piece using foam clays and making is formed and shaped to the figure of my client. The costume helped me learn so many new skills and improve on the ones I already had, and through the constructive criticism and input of my peers, I was able to make it to the best of my ability.

I am interested in ballet,in addition to reading classical history books, such as the song of Achilles, or the Aeneid. Currently I am reading Elektra and learning of the story of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra.

All of my experience has developed my confidence, awareness of design and development of work though attention to detail and working with many different people and disciplines.
