About Emma-Jayne Bailey:

Salesforce Certified Administrator passionate about Salesforce and keen to keep learning and progressing in the Salesforce eco-system. Recently decided that I wanted to re-focus my career to Salesforce and decided to retrain with the highly regarded Supermums. I have been working with a non-profit on their donor onboarding processes and a project to clean up many years of duplicates and NPSP anomalies. This work resulted in automating a new contact entry process, saving users many hours a month, and cleaning up their database to enable much more efficient mail-outs. 

Experience

NASS Internship (March 2023 – July 2023)

Worked for NASS to make Salesforce more effective. Multiple projects resulting in more efficient use for the system and reduced user-hours a month. 

  • Screen Flow created
    • Database is searched for duplicates before a contact is entered. Flow created in a Sandbox and then put into Production via a Change Set. 
  • Documentation
    • Training manual for the New Contact Flow
    • Full documentation of all work covered during Internship
  • Security Health Check
    • Recommended changes made
  • Duplicate Rules
    • Rationalized and enforced appropriate duplicate rules - Users could ignore warnings and create duplicates. Introduced flow to guide user through the donor onboarding process.
  • User/Security Changes
    • Created new profile tiers to reduce the reliance on administrator users and improve overall security. Initiated the move away from profiles towards more specific permission-based user settings.

 

November 2022 – Salesforce Administrator Course 

The Supermums Administration course (six months). Salesforce Implementation Project:

  • Created account, contacts, opportunity and user records, page layouts, updated picklist values and new fields on Opportunity Object. Created sales processes and paths
  • Created Sales and HR Team profiles with relevant permission sets
  • Set OWDs and Product Based Role Hierarchies
  • Created team specific Homepages
  • Set-up approval processes and Flows to automate closed won email to CEO.

Worked as general administrator for this successful vendor of gas analytics software into the up-stream energy sector. I managed client relationships, delivered proposals, project managed the delivery team and assisted in the eventual sale of the business to a venture fund.
