Emma Williams

Former HR Business Partner with over 4 years of experience, most recently at BlackRock. Currently completing my legal qualification (MA Law with SQE1) and seeking temporary work between May and September before starting my solicitor exams. Open to roles in HR, legal support, administration, or project-based work. I bring strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills, and am keen to contribute during this period.

I have over 4 years of experience in human resources, most recently as an HR Business Partner (Associate Level) at BlackRock, where I supported leadership teams on employee relations, organisational development, and strategic people initiatives. I’ve worked in both national and global firms, bringing a strong track record in communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving. Currently, I’m completing my MA Law with SQE1 to qualify as a solicitor and am seeking temporary roles that leverage my skills while I transition into the legal profession.

Currently studying the MA Law with SQE1 at the University of Law, having been awarded the Career Changer Scholarship. Achieved a distinction in all modules completed to date. Previously completed the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management alongside full-time work, gaining a strong foundation in employment law and HR strategy. I hold a 2:1 BA (Hons) in History and History of Art from the University of Nottingham.
