Dear Hiring Manager,

      I am writing to express my interest in this role, I am applying for this role because I have the required experience to excel in this role, first and foremost I have an excellent knowledge of stock management and procurement, am experienced in weekly and daily cyclical counting and general stock taking depending on the company’s policy either quarterly or annual general stock counting or stock taking, also I have knowledge of setting up Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which generate data used in the appraisal of reports from these stock counting  exercises.  In my present role as a Material/Stores manager, I am in charge of procurement of stock used in a hospital and delivery excellent customer service to the nurses and other health workers . I collaborate with heads of Departments to make sure that materials or stocks needed by all departments are of great quality, arrives at the right time and is procured at the right price., also and make sure that operations as it regards to supply chain management and stock are carried out following the company’s lead down rules

   I will bring into the role, a service-focused and hardworking altitude, because I have a rare skill of having eye on details, which comes to play whenever I will be in involved in commercial activities like procurement and logistics which I have learnt and developed in my career as a sales professional, Estate Manager and Materials Manager making health and safety a priority 

I have experience of setting up key performance indexes which helps to Manage stock in Materials or Engineering stores, example of these stock and logistics key performance indexes include Stock value, stock visibility and stock value. Handling and management of dangerous goods. I have COSHH Level 2 certificate to show for it. 

  On management of people, I have almost 7 years of experience in the management of human resources, I have been trained in the important skills of managing difficult staffs and how to make them achieve their full potential, My management style is “Leading by example” and making safety my watch word.

    I am educated to Postgraduate level, a BSc degree in Physics and Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology (IT) from University of London, I believe I can comfortably handle numeric and computer based stock management using computer systems and proficient with Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel, Word)

I have a detailed experience in using (AMOS, CORMAP and PEOPLESOFT) Software for stock management for example, receiving stock, issuing of stock or parts, and management of tools and above all the use of these software for shipping, receiving and stock taking

  Professionally I have managed projects from start to delivery, making sure that the budget and time of delivery is adhered to, and above managed men and material to making sure both the budget is adhered to, also professionally, I have a Prince2 certificate, a certificate in Risk assessment and a lot of experience in contract implementation  with four vocational certificates ranging from Customer service to Business administration, to always update myself , am always willing to learn .

reducing wastages and stock piling of equipment and materials using excellent application of Inventory management and

procurement contract negotiation and monitoring, including equipment repairs. With more than a decade of customer care,

supplier management and inventory Management topped by my balanced leadership skills, your Supply chain/Inventory
