The Music Consortium, Crew Member, August 2023 – Present. 

Worked as local crew and stagehand at festivals including Slam Dunk, Leeds Festival, Download and Latitude. Shifts have included headliner load in/out and production load in/out, with roles on screens, sets, backline, lighting and sound. Completed long night shifts and early morning shifts. 

Premier Event Bars, Bar Staff, July 2023, July 2024. 

Worked on the bar at The Great Yorkshire Show representing Black Sheep in 2023 and Theakstons in 2024. Working on an extremely busy bar serving drinks from 10am – 6pm helped me improve my customer service skills and prove my reliability as a member of staff. 

Flair Events People, Bar Staff, July 2024 - Present

Worked as bar staff at millennium square for the Summer Series Concerts schedule. Another fast paced environment, particularly in gaps between performances. Non – stop serving drinks for entire shifts. 

Yorkshire Building Society, IT Support Analyst, July - September 2021

Supported the service desk at Yorkshire Building Society headquarters in Bradford, focusing on data analysis and IT support work. Responsible for software management and analysing data spreadsheets to send back for colleagues. Communication between colleagues was vital for this role and furthered productivity skills massively. 

Ethan Ramsden Production, 2020 - Present

Created my own production site to compose, record and produce original music for other artists to use as backing tracks and as component parts of their own compositions. Main skills include: Social media networking, communication with customers, contract and license negotiation, finance, promotion and marketing.

Undergraduate Degree/Leeds Beckett University/2021 – 2024

Studied music performance and production for my undergraduate degree, with modules including electronic repertoire development, music industries, live performance and music in context. Played guitar in multiple bands covering genres such as pop, rock, metal, blues, soul and country, using my 11+ years of guitar experience to improvise solos, record and write parts, and arrange songs. Grade achieved: first class honours. 

Music Performance BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3/Leeds City College 2018 – 2021

Completed a BTEC level 3 in music performance. Studied music performance and production, including analysis of the music industry, including royalties, contracts, promotion, social media, networking. Grade achieved: D*/D*/D
