- Script fact checking and species fact sheet creation for “Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough”.
Independent Research Project BSci (University of Exeter) September 2022 - March 2023
-Produced experimental field methodologies using insulation to manipulate the characteristic of next boxes to investigate how thermal quality, orientation relative to wind direction, and height influence nest box roosting site preference.
-Designed field study protocols conducted over the period of 3 months.
-Designed preliminary laboratory study to inform field methodology.
Field Ecological Researcher (University of Exeter): April 2022 - June 2022
- Participated in field research investigating Blue tit and Great tit breeding success.
- Managed a small team of volunteers, training them in bird, chick, and egg handling skills.
- Effectively logged data, surveying across long and unsociable hours.
Shark tagging Researcher (NOAA): July 2021 – August 2021
- Participated in the tagging and monitoring of Blue shark migratory patterns.
- Tagged sharks and installed water pumps, gathered measurements of body length and dorsal size.
