Faith O'Nions

I am currently a student at Nottingham Trent University, studying my first year of Fashion Design BA Hons. I recently completed my A-Levels at King Edwards College in Stourbridge. Since the age of 15, I  have taken up waitressing jobs to gain experience in meeting and serving the public. My first job was waitressing in Bon Pan Asia which was a very busy buffet restaurant in The Merry Hill Centre. I then moved to a Head of Front Of House Position to include waitressing at The Balti Indian Restaurant in Kingswinford. Since working there, I have received more thorough training in meeting and greeting customers, customer service, preparing tables, processing payments. I currently work at The Roe Deer Pub in Kinver, which is a part of the Brunning & Price chain. I am looking to leave there and gain a placement here in Nottingham to do alongside my studies.

January 2023 – Present. The Roe Deer, Kinver

Involving all aspects of waitressing including bar work, being in charge of Front of House, ensuring all customers are happy and comfortable, making sure all orders are received by the kitchen staff correctly, serving food & preparing drinks, cleaning, and preparing tables. I also process payments for the customers I serve.

April 2021 – Present. The Balti Restaurant, Kingswinford

Involving all aspects of waitressing including meeting and greeting customers, in charge of Front of House, ensuring all customers are happy and comfortable, making sure all orders are received by the kitchen staff correctly, serving food & preparingdrinks, cleaning, and preparing tables, taking orders both face to face and on the telephone. I also process payments for the customers I serve.

September 2020 – April 2021   Bon Pan Asia, Merryhill Centre

Involving all aspects of waitressing including meeting and greeting customers, serving food & drinks, cleaning and preparing tables, taking orders from customers.

September 2019 – September 2020   Aquatic Helper for Dudley MBC posted at Summerhill Pathways. Involving various lessons helping young children learn how to swim.
